Seems like old times

We did something today we haven't done in a long time. We went to a play date with some of our playgroup friends. With the girls in school now we can't make it to these anymore. There are a few afternoon play dates, but with homework and me never having enough energy to leave the house in the afternoons we never seem to make those either.

Today was Fair Day, so there was no school. There was a play date scheduled for the park, but since it looked like rain my friend Amy opened her home to all of us. She is very brave! Thanks Amy! The girls and myself really enjoyed being with our friends, and I think Amy's house survived.

I even took a very short video when the kids had settled in to watch a movie, while they were waiting for lunch to arrive.





Oh, and if you are wondering where Erin was in all of this. She was hanging out in the backyard with my friend Melodie's 10 year old daughter Emily.
